Conclusion:
Overall, I would have to say that the WiLife Security System is an amazing product. With the availability to easily setup a home security system through wireless connections, there is no reason to not have a security system. I know that I am away from the house often and like to travel, well while I'm off at CES or Computex, I can easily connect up to the WiLife web site and remotely access all of my cameras. And have Wilife alert me via email or text message if motion is detected.
After thinking about this for a while, I couldn't actually think of any additional feature that i would of liked to seen added to this system (within reason). Bundled full of features, the WiLife Security System is a must have for all of those out there who don't have ADT or Brinks Home Security.
As there may be a few other security systems like the WiLife out there, but none have the wireless feature. Wilife put a lot of effort into the design and operation of their device, the mere fact of using the Home Plug 1.0 Technology was a brilliant idea. Using the existing powerline's to transfer the data was a great idea, for now the customer has the option of placing the camera in any location near a power outlet.
Being priced at $299 for the starter kit, which includes the indoor camera and the software required for recording and managing your cameras. Fortunately, there is no need for wiring because Wilife uses the existing power lines to transmit the data to your computer. Most appealing about the Wilife security system is that it has a easy and hassle-free installation.
