AOpen is a good brand which makes cheap graphics card with fairly decend quality

my Ti4200 128mb is made by AOpen

it has VIVO

i think its enuf for your comp
you can just buy a new graphics card
such as 9500 Pro

see how it does
if it still lags, get a new comp

Before you go and spend hundreds of dollars on a new system, or video card, at least try it with any PS/2 mouse. Without actually seeing the behavior it's somewhat difficult to diagnose, but this is definately worth a try.

You have a very fast system. It may not be by today's standards, but realistically, none of those components should be causing lag in CS. I wouldn't be in too much of a rush to jump to an upgrade. Before considering that, you should first try updating everything and reinstalling everything. My Athlon 1.0 GHz is just fine for most games and applications. Recently, I have been too swamped to do "regular maintenance" (I usually format every few weeks) and it has started to lag in performance. Every time something like this happens, I format it and it is fine. This is why I suggest doing a format before upgrading.

You should also update all BIOS's as one may not be running very efficently alongside your NIC.

oh well dude i just bought this GeForce (See Specs below) and i have no lag on CS and i get 60fps on it now. Nothing is wrong with mouse i love wireless optical or at least mine. also when i had my chipset vid card on and eveyrthing i used my wire mouse and it still lagged. so everything is cool now and i love my video card. if i don't need a faster system how come eviltechie said i did? maybe he is just to full of his system.lol.
