Scene Mode
The various scenes may be chosen by rotating the top dial to scene and scrolling through the menu. Based off of the situation, the camera settings such as the color, contrast and exposure are automatically set-up to produce professional like shots with the click of a button. Below are some sample images of some of the scenes:

By this point in my shots, I was pleased with the ability of the point and shoot Samsung L210. The colors were vibrant, and each one a little different depending on the scene that was chosen. As you can tell in the Portrait shot, the face is clear and well lit. The close up scene I was not quite as pleased with, although still a clear image, this picture was the third attempt at clearly taking a picture of the Palm tree. The close up scene utilizes the macro feature and produces the same images whether using the close up scene or the macro option. When the image was finally taken clearly, it produced a good shot. The Landscape scene was one of my favorites to use. As you can see the sunlight is hitting the building very strong as it was around 5PM, and the L210 captured that contrast very effectively.

I know that many readers out there are always searching for a digital camera that will take the perfect picture of the New York City skyline. I was extremely impressed with the Samsung L210. As the images were processing, I was waiting for the picture to come back with those crazy colored lines because I moved the camera too much. To my surprise out the the four images that took, only one came back slightly blurry. The two images above were taken with a tripod. I was extremely impressed with the Night Scene mode. With both of the night images you would think that there was an abundant amount of light. Not only were the images extremely clear, the L210 produced these images with little to no light present.The vibrant night images can be attributed to the TTL contrast detection AF system. It features a low-light focus assist illuminator which as you can see clearly illuminates low lit areas.
