Crysis:

The next game we used in testing was Crysis. Crysis is one of the most demanding games to this day, and even the most expensive of gaming computers cannot play it on Very High settings flawlessly. In addition, Anti-aliasing makes the system work hard, and we tested using the highest possible settings. Basically we set every single option to the max to test the processors as much as possible.

As you can see, the Q6700 held its ground, pushing out 27.845 frames per second. I was very impressed with how fast this was for the older 65nm processor. It also handled the Anti-aliasing as well as I could expect. This is barely playable, but still doesn't freeze the system.

After putting the Q6700 to 1333MHz, we broke the 28 FPS barrier. Again, the Anti-aliasing score was impressive considering the situation, but still not very playable.

Surprisingly, the Q9650 didn't do too much better than the Q6700 at 1333MHz. The scores were about the same, though the Q9650 did slightly better.
