CrystalDiskMark is used to test the speed of sequential reads and writes, along with random reads and writes of varying sizes.

The Crucial M225 once again scores very impressively and remains the fastest drive we’re run this test on. It also does exceptionally well in the random 4K reads and writes, which is where JMicron based SSD’s failed miserably.
AS SSD Benchmark:
This is a new benchmarking tool that we’re using as it is specifically geared towards SSD’s.
The drive measures up quite nicely with a combined score of 166. The access time seems to be in line with what HD Tune reported. The 4K results also seem in line with what CrystalDiskMark reports.
