SiSoft Sandra is a tool capable of testing just about every part of your system. I focused on two CPU intensive benchmarks, arithmetic processing, and multi-media performance. In processor arithmetic the 5600k achieved 47.3 GIPS and after the overclock brought that up to 54 GIPS. Our overclock averaged about a 12% gain in performance overall.

x264 HD

ECS FM2 Golden

x264 is a benchmark that measures how fast your PC can encode 1080p video into the x264 format. On the first pass we average 31.75 fps which bumped up to 32.5 at 4.1GHZ. Our overclock gave us between a 2-10% boost in performance overall, a nice gain.

3DMark 11

3DMark 11 tests a systems DirectX 11 performance. Our system received a score of 1190 on the performance preset which was basically unaffected by the overclock. This score is low when compared to a system with a dedicated GPU, but fairly impressive considering everything was handled on-chip.

Unigine Heaven

ECS FM2 Golden ECS FM2 Golden

Unigine Heaven is a DirectX 11 benchmark that heavily stresses the GPU but not so much the CPU. FPS was very low, averaging only 9.5. Our overclock again did very little due to the bottleneck of the built-in 7560.

I have this apu. I am a little confused about the electric power consumption.
Could you please let me know how much power it will consume while using the apu at 50% ?
It’s max TDP is 100W. Isn’t it bad compairing intel chips ?
