Cinebench R10
Cinebench is a benchmarking tool produced by Maxon, and it is basically a stripped down version of their Cinema 4D rendering tool. Because of this, Cinebench is a good tool for determining how a given system will perform when asked to render high-quality 3D CGI. When tasked with rendering this high-polygon, dynamically lit model with full reflections and highlights, the Athlon II 240e came through with surprising speed, rendering the image in just under two and a half minutes.
WinRAR
The popular WinRAR archiving tool has buried within it a benchmarking tool, for testing just how fast a given system will process files with its compression engine. The Athlon II 240e managed a fair pace on this task, averaging just over 1.1MB per second.
