Conclusion

The AMD Athlon II 440 x3 has proven to be a very worthwhile processor. It’s not geared to the enthusiast or overclocker, but offers considerable performance for those on a budget. It did very well in the PCMark test, as well as Cinebench. The 440 is be ideal for home entertainment, various multimedia tasks, or as a  home server. It’s low price is particularly appealing compared to the competition and their performance for the same dollar; at $89 there is no reason to not consider this.
