C.O.D. Black Ops to support stereoscopic 3D

cod-black-opspc-fobjuly17Call of Duty: Black Ops may not be developed by Infinity Ward, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing after Modern Warfare 2’s gimped PC port.

Treyarch is attempting to redeem the franchise with Black Ops, and the latest news on the title is the addition of stereoscopic 3D support.

Gamers with 3D-enabled TVs or PCs will be able to turn on 3D, which uses the fairly standard active shutter technology.

  1. Yeah I agree with you Dan but you never know how quick it could catch on, but that money issue will be a huge set back.

  2. I think as long as they dont destroy the PC version like they did n MW2 they will be fine. 3D is a cool idea, but many cant afford the PC’s to play games as it is. and though the technology is good, 3D is still something that needs to be perfected. I think that it’ll be a while before it catches on mainstream.
