3DMark 11 tests a systems DirectX 11 performance. At stock our system recieved a score of 5714 on the performance preset and was able to bring that up to 5909 when overclocked, giving us a 3.4% boost overall. But looking at the CPU score alone, we see a 9.3% jump.

Stock | 4.1GHz Overclock |
Unigine Heaven is a DirectX 11 benchmark that heavily stresses the GPU but not so much the CPU. I decided to include it because it gives a pretty good representation of many modern DirectX 11 games.
Overclocking to 4.1GHz gave us a very minimal increase in fps, bumping the average just 0.3 fps and increasing our score my just a few points. Clearly our GPU is the limiting factor here.

DiRT 3 represents a mid-level graphically intensive game. With all settings maxed at 1080p, overclocking our CPU here again netted us a negligible gain with only a couple fps bump on average over stock.
Yay, knock-off gold colored substandard Taiwanese solid capacitors. The gold color makes them perform better.
