Hands Down, in sequential 4MB read/write the Kingston HyperX wins our hearts. Through every benchmark we have not been let down with the impressive sequential speeds this drive outputs. Kingston has thrown down the gauntlet with numbers Like 525MB/s read and 480Mb/s write. The fact that we were not only able to meet, but BEAT the manufacturers READ/WRITES in our benchmarks is awesome. Keep in mind our entire test system is stock, this is not an overclocking feat, Read write speeds of 555 and 518MB/s at stock settings are just nuts. With a retail price of 259.99 (229 with rebate at the time of writing) That’s roughly $2.16 per Gb. SSD’s are coming down. If you have a SATA III capable motherboard and are looking for an awesome storage upgrade, look no further folks.
