Magellan RoadMate 9055 GPS

Conclusion:

In conclusion the Magellan RoadMate 9055 is a very nice product with a large easy to ready display and additional features like “Lifetime Traffic” which prompts you for all reported accidents. The only feature that set the Magellan RoadMate 9055 apart from its sister Magellan RoadMate 9050 is the Bluetooth speakerphone which we were not impressed with. So if we were to decide between the 9055 and the 9050, it would be for the 9050 for a lesser cost. Again as stated above we may have gotten a Magellan RoadMate 9055 with a bad speaker and we are interested in what you the consumers who have already purchased a Magellan RoadMate 9055 have to say. The only other part of the Magellan RoadMate 9055 that we noticed was some of the menus “appear” slowly or sluggish. We were very impressed with the size of the screen and the clarity and sharpness of the picture. Another feature was the touch screen and turn-by-turn spoken directions were a welcomed feature too. In the end we did like the Magellan RoadMate 9055 with its BIG screen and though the speakerphone didn’t work as good as we had hoped the rest of what the Magellan RoadMate 9055 had to offer was impressive.
