Activision shoots to the top with “Black Ops” Release

Activision Blizzard on Tuesday sold 5.6 million copies in North America and the United Kingdom of “Call of Duty: Black Ops,” its latest addition to the venerable shooter franchise. The game, which generated first-day revenue in those markets of $360 million, broke the industry record for opening-day sales, according to the company.

5.6 million copies. . . wow! Well on its way to some record breaking there. Activision has to be happy with that. Im still waiting on the helicopter to take me on a vacation here.

Report: AT&T will introduce Galaxy Tab on Nov. 21

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab went on sale with Verizon Wireless on Thursday, is due at Sprint stores on Sunday and an Internet report says AT&T will launch the tablet on Nov. 21 at a $650 price tag. The same source reports that Samsung may introduce an Android phone that features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED 2 screen in early 2011.

We have seen an absolute flurry of aftermarket devices and news about the Galaxy Tab. For a device is not even on the market yet it shows a real vested interest from manufacturers.

Google: “Oracle ‘redacted or deleted’ code in suit”

Google further denies that the document attached to Oracle’s Amended Complaint as Exhibit J contains a true and correct copy of a class file from either Android or “Oracle America’s Java.” Google states further that Oracle has redacted or deleted from the materials shown in Exhibit J both expressive material and copyright headers that appear in the actual materials, which are significant elements and features of the files in question.
