YouTube Video = Prison Time

“Norman LeBoon of Philadelphia was sentenced to 24 months in prison for his production and transmission of a YouTube video over the Internet last March containing a threat to injure and kill a United States Congressman. Following his arrest, LeBoon told federal agents that Eric Cantor is ‘pure evil’; ‘will be dead’; and that ‘Cantor’s family is suffering because of his father’s wrath.'”

Gaming is the Most Popular Use of Tablet PC’s

From the who’d a thunk it category comes:

“According to the survey (PDF), 84% of tablet owners play games, ahead of even searching for information (78%), emailing (74%) and reading the news (61%). 56% of tablet owners use social networking services on their device, while 51% consume music and/or videos, and 46% read ebooks. … The survey found that 38% of respondents spend more than two hours a day using their tablets, while another 30% spend 1-2 hours. It appears that tablets are predominantly domestic devices, with 82% of people primarily using their tablets at home, versus 11% who say they are used primarily on the go, and 7% who said at work. 28% of respondents say their tablet is now their primary computer, while 43% say they spend more time using their tablet than they do their desktop or laptop computer.”

Right now Star Trek TOS is available for Instant Watch, and the movies, but that’s all. Soon it will all be here for our viewing pleasure.”

3X More Fuel Efficient Gasoline Engine Prototype

Wonder how long till the gasoline companies buy out the patent and bury the technology.  Why doesn’t wikileaks ever post useful stuff like technology that can save mankind, or the truth behind Area 51, or who assassinated JFK.

“A cool new high-efficiency gasoline engine prototype has no radiator, no pistons, no valves, no transmission, and no fluids (except for the fuel). At first glance it has a few similarities with the Wankel engine, but is more advanced. The engine is only suited for hybrid-electric vehicles, but that’s okay. The efficiency they are claiming: is over 3x what today’s gasoline engines produce. The developers, a team at Michigan State University, hope to have this engine on the market in the next two/three years.”
