Arm Band
For those of us that work out on a regular basis, you may want to look into the armband that you can purchase separately. The OtterBox Defender case is fairly hard to get on and off, and its still something you might want to keep on your phone at the gym if you do use it to listen to music. Since the case is a little bulkier than most armbands will allow, this specially designed armband adds yet another layer of silicon protection to your phone (used to keep it in place) and work out with the peace of mind that your phone will not be damaged if you lean against something too hard, fall, or simply sweat a lot. It is actually very comfortable, does not slip and fall down your arm, and is adjustable enough to accommodate most fitness levels (bicep sizes).

Conclusion
The iPhone’s OtterBox Defender Series case is a phone case in a class of its own. The competition can not even begin to compare. Standing up to being dropped not only onto concrete, but into a puddle, this OtterBox does one thing – Defend – and boy does it do it well. I began speaking to a friend that works as a Deputy Sheriff about the Defender Series Case and to my amusement, all ten of the officers I knew with iPhones had the same defender case. Although their stories varied as to exactly why they bought it, they all started with one thing. They had another case, got into a scuffle at work and had their iPhone broken. The OtterBox Defender is the only case that they trust to protect their phones while they protect everyone else. With the ability to buy one of these for under $32, you cant really go wrong. After using this case, I wouldn’t use any other. Nothing can offer the versatility or durability that the OtterBox can.
Would not recommend buying the Otterbox case with the clip. But if you’re buying their series cases at Target be sure to get one of the relevant Target Coupons for them. They can save you anywhere from 10%-30% on the retail price.
I purchased the otterbox.. Love the look love how sturdy it look.. Well that was short lived! The clip/phone dropped from my pants.. Fell on the ground- iPhone screen went totally white.. Since I was outta warranty.. 200.00 to just replace the face only!! Would not purchase it again…
Interesting. Can you tell us which case you had? have you tried contacting the company to see if Otterbox insures phones placed in their cases?
