Crysis: Warhead
Crysis was released in Late 2007 and has since been one of the most demanding games available. Because of this, it’s almost always in a graphics card review to show how much you card just can’t do. I ran this card through four passes. I used two resolutions a 2 different settings types: Gamer and Enthusiast. All of this was done with the latest Framebuffer benchmark tool.
Crysis: Warhead is really just one of those games that makes you want to kill everyone because you just can’t enjoy it’s full potential on a budget. Someday! Someday this dream will be lived! Sadly, the game isn’t very good. :-/
G is for GAMER and E is for ENTHUSIAST.
Conclusion
Overall, I think the Nvidia GTS450 is a good selection given its performance and price range. It’s actually quite a good card for it’s $122 price tag. Personally, I’d pay the extra $20-30 or so and get a Radeon 5770 or a GTX460, but that puts you in the gaming bracket of cards. Don’t get me wrong, this card is definitely suited for gaming, but Nvidia’s gaming lineup starts with the 460. When it comes to general high-end entertainment, or budget gaming, this card will do fantastic. But keep in mind that now that AMD has started releasing new mid range 6000 series cards, more of their 5000 series cards will drop and put the hurt on this GTS450 unless it’s price drops as well which we suspect it will. I still think that AMD holds the title of best value cards, but Nvidia is catching up.
The card does seem to be well made and the fan isn’t too loud. Overall, it’s a good card and it’s definitely worth consideration.

Those are some pretty impressive specs! I have never tried a Sparkle video card before, but I’ve heard great things about them recently so I might consider it in a couple months.
