Conclusion:

Working with the WF-7520 these last few months has been effortless. We have sent all the print jobs to this printer in an effort to find a fault and came up with none. This sleek looking multifunction printer is not lightweight but still lighter than a laser. Also it used less electricity than our color laser and also has a better PPM than our laser. The quality of color photos that we printed out were very crisp and impressive when printed on glossy photo paper. The wide format feature is really great, but we personally didn’t use it day-to-day outside of sending test jobs through. The setup and daily use was quick and easy and was used by several users in the office with whom struggle with new technology, but took to the WF-7520 really well after a ten minute training. The WF-7520 is estimated to be $299 when it hits the shelf  in January/February of 2013 and for that price it is a real bargain considering its All-In-One features, dual tray capability, wireless function, and speed, and resolution. Add to that the extended list of features mentioned previously and for $299 you have a one stop shop for your printing, scanning, and multiple user needs.

  1. Ummm Noobs (reply to>noobydoodoo) who are still using XP and probably don’t know a thing about computers shouldn’t be whinging about stuff they don’t understand and stick to pushing buttons on their iPhones…

  2. Warning!!!! The printer seems good but the Epson Software that goes with it is a complete and utter dog. Error messages failure to copy file warnings and restart your computer messages all over the place. Came close to getting it all to work but four hours later and two massive uninstalls and retrys and now nothing is working. iIt’s going onto an XP machine with a decent Telstra WIFI setup. Epson should be ashamed of their crappy software. The manual that came with it needs a magnifier as well and its basic info only. My advice is do not buy this machine. It will likely not install cleanly to your WIFI and it will cost you days of lost time trying to get the software to work properly. No wonder they were being run out cheap at Office Works.
