The positives for having a laptop cooler comes with better performance of the components of the laptop (RAM, Processors, hard drive). Though with our Dell D320 the processor and hard drive aren’t getting too much more air than what they were getting sitting on a solid surface. A little more air is better than the factory spacing. Along with keeping your laptop cooler comes longer life of the components such as the hard drive isn’t strained by the extreme heat produced by spinning the platters. What really surprised this reviewer was due to how much cooler the keyboard was because the heat was being dissipated through the bottom of the laptop. Since the Thermaltake Massive23 ST is priced at roughly $40 usd, the price isn’t too steep for an item which will prolong the life of your laptop’s components and maintain the performance over hours of use.
