Final Thoughts

Pros:

• Excellent cooling performance
• Nearly silent at low speed
• Very easy to mount
• Takes much less space than a similar air cooler
• Competitively priced

Cons:

• Loud at high speed

Overall, I was impressed with the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro. You get the stellar performance similar to a high-end air cooler in a smaller package that will generally be much easier to mount and work around. You don’t have to worry about RAM clearances, case width, and motherboard damage from weight. Just install it and go. Add that to the fact that currently it is only $8 more than the Frio Extreme, and we see there are very few drawbacks.  Because of this, we have awarded it our gold award.
