Overall I am impressed with the Western Digital My Passport Ultra. You get great transfer speeds, a small desk footprint, silent operation, and good bundled software. At a current price point of $70 from various retailers, it is very competitive with other similarly sized portable external drives. If you are in the market for a high performance portable drive, I’d definitely recommend putting the My Passport Ultra on your list.
