Final Thoughts
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Looks good
- Great build quality
- Good feature set
- Competitive price
Cons:
- Touch too small to text on
- Weak mic
- No app store
Overall I was fairly impressed with the WiME Wi-Watch M5. It has a feature set comparable to the big name brands, looks good, is well built, and is comfortable to wear. The only real gripes I have with this watch is that the touch screen is a little too small and inaccurate to actually reply to texts with, the microphone is pretty weak, and there’s no apps available aside from the lame pre-loaded ones. While it is a neat little gadget, I still don’t think smart watches are an essential piece of gear for a tech enthusiast to have. You could just as easily pull your phone out of your pocket and do everything the watch can do and more in less time.
At a retail price of $150, it’s right in line with the similar offerings from the big name brands but still a little too much for such a gimmicky product. Having said that, if you are in the market for a smartwatch, the Wi-Watch M5 is definitely worth considering.
