PCMark Vantage

pcmark-vantagePCMark Vantage scores were about what you’d expect, with an overall score of 2226. Unsurprisingly, music and storage performance came out the best, while more demanding tasks like video transcoding scored lower.

PCMark 7

pcmark-7-overall

PCMark 7, which takes advantage of new features in Windows 7, was somewhat less forgiving in overall scores.

Video playback tests, which utilize only the CPU, gave an average framerate of 22.5 fps. Video transcoding scores varied widely, with the best result from the second downscaling test, and the worst from the high quality transcoding test.

pcmark-7-3d-graphics

The 3D graphics tests all registered in the single digits for framerates, perhaps unsurprisingly.

pcmark-7-web-browsing

Web browsing tests came in between 3.74 and 2.7 pages per second, depending on the number of tabs open at once. In this, at least, there were no problems.

AIDA64

aida64-fpu-vp8

The VP8 test, which measures video encoding speed on the CPU, posted an expectedly low result of 451.

aida64-memory-read

The memory read test posted a result of 3912 MB/sec, which is on the low side but expected.
