Design and Packaging:
The design is a solid 9/10. The housing is in black and the keyboard weighing at only 1.8 ounces and fitting into one hand is like a cherry to top it all off. This is a very extraordinary keyboard with a rounded rectangular shape and rounded-off edging. From personal use I was able to increase my typing on a PS3 almost ten-fold if not more. I had the opportunity to use this on the Netflix and Amazon pages through the playstation network which made the surfing a blast.
Furthermore, the audio and microphone features that are located on the back, you will see the gigantic benefits through the use of this device not only in texting but in cellphone talking too.
Through my Samsung Galaxy S3 I connected the Bluetooth keyboard by typing in the given passcode and then was able to use it. The keyboard is well responsive but the microphone is too sensitive and catches the sounds around you. Testing it in a phone conversation the other person heard every word he/she said, which made it very obnoxious.
On a Play Station, like mentioned earlier, I was able to surf Amazon and had mailed a few messages, with absolutely no issues with delay. Unlike the PS3 controller you can use the buttons on the keyboard for pressing backspace and space and enter accordingly.
In conclusion the design and uses generally appealing to all of the people that I asked to test within my family, and friends. The weigh and functionality, and just the overall experience made it a great buy. The only problems I encountered with it is the microphone issue, and the fact that you have to hold ESC+K to connect to the PS3, and if you didn’t read the manual, which said so, you would be confused on how to connect to the PS3 system.
Where to buyTiger Direct has it for 50$, which seems like a very reasonable price for the amazing amount of pros. We have awarded the Eagle Tech Bluetooth Mini Keyboard with Speakerphone our Bronze Award.
