WinRar’s internal benchmark utility shows what the real time speed in KB/s that would be when using both single-thread and multi-threaded tasks. Looking at the results, we see that the Phenom II x6 1075T scored 808 KB/s without multi-threading and 2769 KB/s with multi-threading.
Whetstone
The Whetstone benchmark primarily measures the floating-point arithmetic performance.
The 1075T scored a wopping 3,015,591 points.
PassMark (PerformanceTest 7.0)
PerformanceTest is a great complete benchmark like PCMark Vantage.
Fast, easy to use, PC speed testing and benchmarking. PassMark PerformanceTest™ allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests and compare the results to other computers.
PerformanceTest also gives us a CpuMark and PassMark rating. We ran PerformanceTest’s CPU benchmark which runs Mathematical operations, compression, encryption, SSE, 3DNow! instructions and more.
My rig scored a total score of 1456.2. Really good, but what really matters is the CPU score, so lets check that out.
The 1075T scored an impressive 5948.9 PassMark score, which, according to PassMark, is just over an Intel Core i7 870 2.93GHz. Not bad AMD, not bad.
