Arion: The Sound Secret You Want to Know

There is a little known company based out of Chino California that you should know about if you are into audio names Arion. A brand under EagleTech that makes some really nice audio products for deceptively low prices. Don’t be fooled by the pricetag, Arion has the fit and finish you are looking for as well as audio quality that is superior to many of the higher end priced competition. We had the opportunity to listen to their product lineup first hand at CES 2013 and we were very impressed. Arion has a full line of products as well, ranging from smaller office and PC speakers to larger floor standing and shelf units.

Many consumers will look at wattage as the all important determining factor when purchasing speakers or audio products but this would be misleading and wrong. In fact audio enthusiasts have known for a long time that  all the wattage in the world wont save a product when its quality of sound and RMS that matters. Think of high wattage as a lot of sound but not necessarily being able to keep that output or having it sound good. Ever hear a bad but loud speaker? Want to listen to that all the time? Of course not and thats why you should look into Arion. At CES 2013 we listened to clear, powerful, and accurate sound being produced by elegant looking refined products that had more functionality than many of the higher end costly brands.

You want to pay for a name go ahead. Im thinking you would rather save money and get more. So we wondered why we didn’t hear about their products in the past and it seems that while the sound and quality may be big, their marketing is not. We sat down with their CEO who is remarkably agressive with some big ideas and spoke to one of the engineers who gave us some inside information about the anatomy of Arion speakers. When we were done we just had to get our hands on some samples for you. So consider this a heads up on the little known sound secret that is Arion. Small company with big products that you will want.

Right now Arion can be found online through Amazon and Tiger Direct.  Oh and they don’t make just speakers but also Bluetooth Speakers/Headsets and Bluetooth Accessories. About the only thing Arion is missing is a larger marketing budget and more outlets to buy from.
