AZZA Hurrican 2000 Full Tower Case

Use

The case fired up to a properly muted blue LED light system on the front and side panels as well as the power button. I noticed the power button to be a little mushy, though. The case fans were also remarkably quiet for the number of them. The door to the HDD racks doesn’t like to stay open making installation annoying. Also, getting the side panel back on is a little bit difficult due to it’s large fan protrusion. To power the hot-swap board, this case uses 4-pin molex, and because of the small amount of 4-pin molex connectors on my power supply, I ran out of them after connecting all of the fans and two HDDs. I’ve had other PSUs that had more 4-pin molex, but it sucks running out. At least the fan molex connectors can be daisy-chained.

There is a proper HDD light on the top near the power-button. It’s orange and square. It doesn’t emit a lot of light, but enough to let you know the HDD is working. A proper HDD light.

Conclusion

Overall, I really liked the Azza Hurrican 2000. It was very roomy, but doesn’t seem to big sitting on my floor. It also has a pretty sleek design that is very unique. It’s build quality is well worth it’s price of $139, and it’s not to obnoxious looking. The large case is great to work in, and the air cooling is great; I don’t feel an increase in room temp as I did before, and I like that.  Something I didn’t talk about earlier is the USB 3.0 on the case. This case, like many other with USB 3.0, requires you to plug it into your I/O panel. This is a no go for me, but shouldn’t stop anyone from wanting SuperSpeed from their front panel. So, is the Hurrican a can or a can’t? It’s most certainly a can.
