The Cherry MX keyboard is sturdy, solid, and very exciting to type on. With the pure sense of the word “keyboard” perfected it’s sad to ‘not see’ any spiffy unique attributes to the keyboard. This keyboard sits close to my professional category of ‘tools’ that help me in my daily routines.
The overall effectiveness of this keyboard is beyond a dream, for anyone needing to type in both coding and literature environment this keyboard is a must. Personally, the accuracy of this keyboard has helped with countless coding errors, writing errors, and is just really fun to type with! I just need a little “Ching” at the end of each line to be in nirvana.
Alas, this keyboard may not be for the gamer at heart, it is a very well reactive keyboard, but the lack of macros and extra interactive features of many gaming keyboards will prevent this one from entering the hearts of the gamer seeking these features. For the gaming purist in need of a simple layout with the switch of their choice then the MX very well may fit the bill. For the rest of us, Cherry did phenomenal work with this keyboard, hats off! Maybe they can design a specialized keyboard for gamers with a little more sass?
Bottom Line:
The Cherry MX 3.0 is an affordable way to get a customized mechanical keyboard that suits your needs and saves you time and effort while being long lasting and offering you more tech than your plain jane membrane.
