SANTA ROSA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Liquid Image enters the US Wireless Device market with the Ego LS 800, the first wearable and mountable live streaming 4G LTE enabled camera. The initial shipment of the Ego LS is available today for distribution in the United States and is connected by the Verizon Wireless network.
The Ego LS 800 is the first embedded 4G LTE wearable/mountable 1080p HD camera featuring expanded connectivity to IoT devices through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Low Frequency RF. Users can embed biometric, geo-location, and sensor information directly into the video or image file, or even control peripherals. Simultaneously record video and broadcast it live over Wi-Fi or Verizon 4G LTE. Use the Liquid Image Ego LS 800 to stream to social networks or secure cloud servers. The Liquid Image LIVE app for iOS and Android devices will enable the camera to stream live views, let you view your photos and videos, act as a remote control to activate the camera, and much more.
Use cases for 4G LTE with the EGO LS include Live Streaming beyond the range of Wi-Fi. This can apply to promotional use, social use, sports, education and training. The Ego LS camera has a wide angle 8.0MP camera mode combined with a large sensor and lens for capturing high quality images with fine details. The Ego LS has a video mode that records 1080p HD video at a rate up to 30 frames per second as well as the High Action mode of 720p HD video at a rate up to 60 frames per second. This model also features a continuous shot photo mode, and photo burst mode. All images and videos can be recorded to a Micro SDXC card up to 64GB (not included). File recording may occur while simultaneously transmitting over 4G LTE and Wi-Fi.
