The monitor stands up on its own with the stand provided. the stand contains the connections for the two display ports close-ups below. and the power cable which is a standard USB.

The USB has the option of coming out of the bottom or the side, and has a decent length cable. The extra cable can obviously be stored withing the monitor itself which is a nice.
Accessories:
One accessory that the manufacturer included in our review sample was the Monitor stand bricks. The bricks themselves appear to be very versatile. lets take a look.

So these stands allow you to use the monitor independently of a clean flat surface, but they also have other uses. You could easily use these to prop up your mobile phone, or even a tablet.
