Conclusion:
I have two complaints about the board. Firstly, the top ram speed supported in the bios is only 1333mhz; and secondly, the 3D audio button is not very practical to turn on and off. These are both minor issues and do not affect the complete functionality of the board, however I feel that the ram is a detractor for me, and there should be a software switch for the 3D audio in addition to the physical. I am pleased with the other features provided by the HI06. The on board error LCD is a good feature and can definitely be useful, and the on board power and reset button are great for over-clockers. If someone were building a budget system the H55 chipset included on this board would be a great place to start as it includes on board HDMI, so you could possibly hold off on purchasing a video card. All of these features combine to provide a pretty nice package.
