Today LaCie announced the latest addition to its family of award-winning Rugged hard drives – LaCie Rugged Mini, design by Neil Poulton. With a 40 percent size reduction the Rugged Mini makes it even easier for professionals, students and families to safely store their data and take it on the go. Additional features include shock-, rain- and pressure-resistance and a full software suite with 10GB of Wuala secure online storage.
The product is available now in 500GB and 1TB capacities. Next month LaCie will also offer the Rugged Mini in a 1.5TB version, which is the first LaCie mobile drive to feature capacity greater than 1TB. I have included the press release and image download.
