Back of the case Left Panel removed.

The Ravager is a mid tower case with the standard I/O slots and the power supply located at the bottom of the case. This arrangement of the PSU being located at the bottom of the case has become standard practice in recent years to move the motherboard up in the case in order to assist with exhausting the heat from the CPU through the top of the case where normally the PSU would pull this air through the PSU and exhaust it out the back of the case. Once the side panel was removed we were impressed by the blue color scheme throughout the interior. This makes the Ravager a candidate to be a theme case and easily selectable by the modder or enthusiast.

At the back of the case we can see the I/O ports are secured by thumb screws which are big enough to manipulate easily. In the right photo we have a closeup of one of the two exhaust fans that come with the case. Located right next to the heat sink this 120mm fan help exhaust the hot air away from your heat sink quickly and quietly.

Looking at the tray to which you will mount the motherboard to we can see a huge opening for access to the back of the CPU to allow mounting the heat sink easily for multiple socket types. We ended up installing an Intel motherboard and were able to mount the heat sink easily with this opening. In the right photo we can see the bottom of the motherboard mounting panel with the access port which give the case a cleaner look when routing cables. Unfortunately not enough manufactures have embraced this feature. You will quickly come to realize these access ports are pure gold when keeping cable clutter to minimum inside the case.

The 5.25″ drive bays have a quick release lever to allowing for easy installation/removal of your ROM drives or access panels. These quick release levers are the continuation of very desirable features when it comes to computer cases today. In the right photo we can see the back side of the motherboard mounting plate and the cable side to the 3.5″ drive bays.
