Each computer case today seems to have its own way to mount a HDD. The use of trays which slide and clip into place have reduced the number of case screws that get lost or crossed threaded. Shown here are the Ravager’s HDD trays which are tool-less and simply click apart and expand to allow you to install a HDD and then click back together for a quick and easy install/removal. As you can see the trays also accomodate 2.5″ drives via bottom holes located at the front and center of the trays. This is an excellent example of forward thinking case design for enthusiasts and gamers.

The top of the case has room for two 120mm fans for additional venting. The case doesn’t come with these fans in order to keep the cost of the case low. The right photo is of the bottom of the case which comes with two mesh screens that can be removed, cleaned and reused. We weren’t too impressed with these mesh screens though, as they would not stay in place and would simple fall out of the mounting holes with little to no effort.

Wire routing ports are a feature that we wish we had in the inception of original PCs due to their benefits of keeping the wire clutter of a computer case to a minimum and promoting better airflow. Any computer case on the market last year going forward should have at least two or more slots around the motherboard to route cables from the back side of the case. Once you take the time to use these routing holes, you will then see how much cleaner your PC will look through any case window and will only benefit you with a cleaner airflow through the case. We wouldn’t even consider a case without them.
