NZXT VULCAN M-ATX Computer Case

Analysis:

Many cases in the mid-tower size lack the features found in larger full tower cases.  The VULCAN is an exception to the general rule. NZXT managed to implement a design that allows for two (2) full length PCIe graphics cards, such as 2 ATI 5970’s (310mm in length). This is unheard of in the realm of micro-ATX cases in the mid-tower size.  The included water cooling knockouts, ample fan mounts to provide adequate cooling, and bottom mounted PSU enable the installation of large heat generating graphics cards. NZXT has payed attention to details in the design and finish of the VULCAN. The all black inside and outside finish, simple yet effective orange strip light down the front & glow on top, and dual fan controller are all signs of quality finishing details. Wire management is very important in a case this size when considering all the wiring and hardware that would possibly fit in the enclosure. NZXT has bumped out the motherboard side panel, creating a large cavity to run cabling and connections out of sight and the path of airflow. This case could be used for an array of purposes. A gaming rig that is LAN party ready, video production box for on the road editing, power user that wants a beastly machine but a more subtle look, the applications are endless…
