Remove and Prevent Spyware, Malware, and Viruses Fast and Easy!

Task Manager:

All Microsoft operating systems come with a handy dandy program that you can run called Task Manager. Task Manager will allow you to see all of the programs and processes running on your PC (for the most part).  For our purposes Task Manager is all you need to safely stop these kinds of infections with 5 mouse clicks.

The simple process in 5 steps:

1. Right click on the bottom bar on your desktop window.
2. Select Start Task Manager
3. Select Processes when the Task Manager opens
4. Select iexplorer.exe or firefox.exe (according to the browser you are using) and click END PROCESS.
5. Click  END PROCESS when the confirmation window opens asking if you really want to end that process.

The only downside to this method is that you will lose all of the open windows you have in Internet Explorer or Firefox. This is of course a minor downside compared with the potential harm in trying any other method or if the malware or spyware installs. Have no fear though your word documents and other applications will remain open.
