Conclusion

This card surprised me during testing.  My first assumptions were I’d have a card with mediocre gaming performance and cooling problems.  After testing, we can see this card not only performs under the games we tested, but also kept its cool while doing so.  The 6670 Ultimate has the capability to be a gaming card or a media card with DVI-d and DP for gaming and HDMI for media.  On top this, this card is completely silent: A major plus for the silent build.  I’m sure with a little overclocking, this card can keep 30fps on quality settings.  If you’re looking to use this card as a gaming card, I wouldn’t put it in a case without good case air-flow.  While the card doesn’t have it’s own fan, it still requires air to be moved over the fins to cool the card.  Media playback wouldn’t be a problem.  If you’re looking for a card to cover both gaming and media needs: This is it.
