TRENDnet TEW-691GR Wireless 450Mbps Gigabit Router

This router has some great features. There is one thing to note with it though, you cannot use the full 450 Mbps capability without a compatible device.While your standard 802.11 b/g/n devices will work they will not utilize the full capability. Look at our review of the TRENDnet TEW-687GA for the full wireless speeds of this device. That being said, I cannot find any shortcomings for this router. TRENDnet has definitely improved their design, the sleek look of this device will compliment any desk. And this is NOT form without function. This router offers the full featured capabilities you would expect from a corporate level device. The use and configuration doesn’t have to be difficult, there are wizards and software included to assist. TRENDnet isn’t pulling any punches either this baby is priced to move, one of only two 450 Mbps wireless routers on the market this is on sale for less than HALF the cost of its competitor. Im awarding this the Techware labs AWESOME hardware award!
