AMD Athlon II X2 240e Processor

Team Fortress 2 is still one of the most popular multiplayer games out there, having displaced Counter Strike Source for many as the competitive game of choice.  For this test, I ran a timedemo of a competitive 5v5 capture point match in Granary, one of the larger levels in the game.  Testing was done with v sync disabled, and all detail settings to maximum.

Even with 8xMSAA enabled, framerates on this game were spectacularly high, to the point where vsync would actually be necessary to prevent excessive screen tearing.

Raising the resolution had almost no impact on the framerate, vsync is still strongly recommended for smooth gameplay.
