Unreal Tournament 3
Beginning with BioShock, many game developers have chosen to employ Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 to bring their game to life. Unreal Tournament 3 is Epic’s flagship implementation of this engine, with no compromises made to either the visual fidelity or the fast frenetic gameplay. For this match, I ran through a timedemo of a free-for-all Deathmatch in DM-OceanRelic, one of the new maps featured with the free Titan Pack DLC. Aside from the usual pyrokinetics, this map features the Slow Field powerup, which distorts the air around its owner to slow incoming projectiles.
With the resolution at 1280 x 1024, frame rates rested comfortably in the 90s, proving that this CPU can run this game with horsepower to spare. Oddly though, frame rates seemed capped at 60 when the game was run at 1680×1050, despite having Vsync disabled for the test. Attempts to eliminate this were unsuccessful, so a driver issue may be at fault.

Do you peferr Intel over AMD or vice versa. I peferr Intel still even though AMD is clearly starting to give them a run for their money. I don’t particularly like Asus boards. I had bad experiences with Asus in the past. I peferr MSI, Intel, and Gigabyte.
