Item 4 under the Basic Setup menu and item 1 under the video menu are the same. Here the output of the camera can be adjusted to a specified resolution. Wile the m3204 does not have actual PTZ, digital PTZ is available with limited movement to the different corners on the screen.
Stream Profiles
Stream profiles are implemented on the client side depending on connection settings. The m3204 comes preloaded with 4 stream profiles – Quality, Balanced, Bandwidth, and Mobile. Each of these modes corresponds to the bandwidth that get used up to send the stream to the client. The Quality setting uses up the most bandwidth while the Bandwidth uses up the least. Mobile setting are implemented when the device accessing the camera is a cell phone, PDA, etc and has minimal bandwidth requirements. The details for each of the settings can be seen in the picture blow.

Live View
The live view tab of the menu only has on subsection – Layout. This section generally provides the interface for how the browsers look at the live view interface. Here the user is given the ability to select between H.264 or AMC (AcriveX) as the default format of the Live View. It is important to note that the camera prefers Internet Explorer to any other browser. The reason for the is if the client is using Internet Explorer tries to access the H.264 stream, the camera will prompt to install H.264 decoders automatically. The decoders would have to be installed separately for any other browser.

Privacy Masks
The m3204 includes a privacy masks feature. Much like the name suggests the feature works by putting a blank box in front of the area selected by the user. The colors that are available with the privacy masks are black, grey, white and red. The user is also given the ability to create mask profiles. Each of the masks can either be enabled or disabled by the user. This means that if any particular can be disabled without being deleted.
