The iStand S3 provides a secure mount that allows you to orient your tablet into either a horizontal or vertical setup. Combined with the capability of adjusting the height and tilt you can maneuver your tablet into an extremely comfortable viewing angle. It is useful for placing on your desk, end table, or chest/stomach if lying in bed.

Specifications

While the stand is not large and could be readily portable, it is not the most comfortable to have in your lap during use and as such more suited for a hard, flat surface. The spacing between the support braces does limit which tablets will fit and as such knowing both how wide and thick your tablet is should be a determining factor in whether you pick this stand up or not.
