Installation
There was no particular issues. A removable motherboard panel would’ve been nice but absolutely not necessary. The big positive was open space for cooling installation. When reviewing Thermaltake’s Kandalf LCS the author had literally cut himself installing some of the hardware. Fortunately, Thermaltakes careful attention to detail made up for that fault. The Element S has nice round edges all inside the case so that it is difficult to cut yourself even if you want to leave alone regular hardware installation.
With excellent wire management, its easy to leave the case very open even with a lot of hardware which makes cooling the inside much easier. Plus, the provided cable ties is an excellent addition to this management.
Conclusion
An attractive in its simplicity, manageable, and overall efficient case. You get what you see in advertisement it is “Created for Pros”. You will definitely appreciate this case if you work on your computer as a job. The nice touches such as anti-vibration layers and folding edges just adds the icing on the cake. Even though you can’t control the speed of the fans you likely won’t need to. Even though huge in some cases, the fans were quiet especially for their size. At most you hear is the air blowing out instead of random buzzing, static, or even better, rattling.
Element S is an excellent choice for a manageable and an affordable case. Simple and attractive it is a great choice for your professional work PC. Inconsiderable flaws come and go unnoticed and drowned in the positve. If I was to choose from many of the cases on the market today, with the price considered, there is none that would suit my needs better.
