SuperSpeed USB 3.0 INEO I-NA309D Pro Review

Summary and Conclusion:

Overall, INEO produced a good looking quiet enclosure that is extremely easy to both install and use. It performed as expected with reliable transfer speeds. It looks sleek and the ability to remove the feet in order to make it flush with something else can be rather handy. Additionally, the three settings work well and despite the small ventilation fan, it actually runs extremely quiet when I was expecting to hear a high-pitched squeal. There are some points that are areas of opportunity as I see them. First, this enclosure should be placed somewhere where it can ventilate properly since the front, while appearing to be riddled with air holes, actually has limited air-flow capacity due to the front plate with the LEDs mounted on the interior. Another thing to be noted is that this enclosure is not one that you will want to travel with. I mentioned earlier that the only step to opening and removing the drive tray was the removal of two (2) screws from the bottom and it really only requires less than half a dozen turns to do so. Constant jostling is bound to loosen them and result in your drive tray doing its impersonation of a famous Dr. Strangelove scene. Just do not use it as your traveling enclosure and keep it somewhere cool and you should not have any issues with it whatsoever.
